RE: RE: Any bets on market going green ?Obama can tax the banks, corporations, speculators, investment firms but there may be consequences. These big players may not want to play until the Republicans are back in power. The market wouldn't gain much until then. I think of the market as one big game with rules made by these banks, corporations, speculators, investment firms. They call the shots. The game is who can grab the money off the table faster and they have the upper hand to say "GO." But we don't know when they will say go. They have all this computer programs that assist them. I really think  gradual regulation of the market over time is the key. Then everyone would have a fair play. If Obama taxes them they may try to find ways to take more money from the lower players.
