It is called shorting Dave. Big banks and hedge funds make a fortune doing this. About time the feds did something about it instead of leaving it up to Reddit investors. Shorting should be illegal in my opinion. Really excellent companies got hit. Remember selling Shopify holdings as a result of that major shorter.
