Trading higher than offer priceLate today, a buyer at TD drove the price higher than the 95 cent (alleged) offer price. Someone at TD has been buying aggressively in the last two days. It doesn't appear to be Mitchell because the trading yesterday didn't show up on today's daily insider/10%er report.
This normally means a sweatened offer is expected or the long-term alternative (adjusted for risk) is worth more than 95 cents. I doubt it is because they are expecting boffo operating results for 1Q/2010 in Friday's announcement.
Tic tic tic ... still no offer.
