RE:RE:Kontrol Energy Enters Exclusive Distribution Arrangement Acr

RE:RE:Kontrol Energy Enters Exclusive Distribution Arrangement AcrI was just checking out USSC, looks like most of their product lines are geared towards busses.  I think the arrangement makes sense, KNR will get a sales team to pitch to a new client base mainly transit in a hard hit industry by covid.  Bus drivers are getting infected at a much higher rate than the general population.

USSC seems to also offer a specialized air purification and surface sanitization solution:

I think the ability to not only pitch transit agencies on ability to purify the air, but to also monitor the air is synergistic for both USSC and KNR.

This is great news, but I'm not blown away by the news like everybody else seemes to be, this deal doesn't mean any sales yet, KNR hasn't set any minimums for this distribution deal, the NR says it is based on "best effort"  and exclusivity is set at 5k units annually...which would be great but it's not sales yet, it's casting a wider web, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

I know in rail, hardware is usually spec'd out to be EN50155 so that might be a tough sale at this point, but if they can get a transit agency to mount these in busses or bus facilities, that would be a huge win.

To me this is just an OK NR, I don't think this takes KNR from a great speculative opportunity and into a great fundamental cashflow value stock opportunity.  Don't get me wrong...I still think KNR is a vastly undervalued spec stock, the risk reward is ridiculous...and it wouldn't take much to have this stock turn into a proper value & growth stock. Patiently waiting for actual sales, which will come.  If you listened to the Q3 conference call, the CEO ended the call by saying that they just need to execute, well I liked that attitude.

Another aside, is I read that somebody spoke to McDonalds management at the KNR test site saying that they were using it to test employees.  I noticed that photos of the test unit showed that it was mounted i the vestibule...ok so this unit is NOT being used as intended.  I don't think that's a bad thing, why wouldn't McDonalds use this as a makeshift breathalizer test?  Sure it's not certified by Health Canada but can't they show that it works independently, it's not like saliva tests are available to them, why not use it in this way, what alternatives are available to McDonalds which are better?  As for having it mounted in the vestibule, I think it's equally important to show that the BioCloud doesn't produce annoying false positives when exposed to that environment.

Doesn't really seem like the best fit for Biocloud.

But it is news, and most people won't bother to do any DD, so I expect a bump on the news.
