BBC skeptic
But Prof Alan McNally from Birmingham University was not convinced."I think this is just another test being marketed with absolutely no robust, independent validation and testing, and I would say I am extremely sceptical on its use."He said that it would need "an incredible amount of independent testing".He also said it was unclear what the procedure for schools and businesses would be if the alarm sounded: "How exactly one would act if Covid in the air was detected is rather beyond me.

Was he involved in lab testing? Did he get an elaborate demo and Q and A from the company? Does he understand this is not a fire alarm type of a gadget? Can he not imagine some protocols when a responsible individual gets a silent notification on his device of virus detection? Why was he on BBC?

Imagine Kontrol testing for another 3 years and coming up with the same conclusion. That would give you one example of one difference between an academic and a businessman.

I will tell you if they make sales and then try to see if I can figure it out based on margins. Does any company that you invest into tell you what their profit margin is?
