Disgusting! The Govt should be ashamed!

I just read this .....how utterly sad and disgusting! Move it Ontario government! Get BIocloud out there now! The province says as of Monday, 3,614 long-term care residents have died in Ontario since the start of the pandemic.

Agreed. Here too. I have new hope this morning seeing the Chamber news and the linked-in angle (thanks for those nuggets OP). The buzz may have finally started and once enough people understand the darn thing they may take what we see as the obvious steps. I sure hope so anyway. But there is an element in our society that will accept any losses as long as they can keep their position and status ...more

Awwww thank you Yearinyank. That's so very kind of you to say. Although I would think it's only normal to feel this way. What I don't understand is why Abigail at Global news hasn't followed thru with the story when I actually spoke to her and she seemed as passionate as I am? Also why Global News Int didn't air Paul's interview and in visiting Kontrol?!! It does not make ...more

In my area we have seen county health department directors driven out of jobs becuase they stood in the way of reopening schools. We have seen anti-mask protests. There is a desire to get back to "normal" (which can't happen). But you are exceptional and don't stop please. We all here seem to agree that the biocloud story is such an explosive one that it is hard to understand ...more

Typical how slow Ford an dhis cronnies are moving their butts on this. Choosing to install Hepa Filters in schools and LTC facilities. As if that's going to help eliminate the pandemic pathogens causing covid.  It's just a bandaid fix to say "hey look we're doing somethin". Give me a break! You can bet if one of their loved ones was in a LTC using a ventilator to ...more

Pointer , being that there are no side affects to having Biocloud it doesn't make sense as to why it's taking so long. So many amazing factors come into play in implementing Biocloud. The Ontario Government has all the research in their hands about Biocloud so absolutely no excuse! - protecting our precious elderly residents from Covid. - Making so many more jobs for people, especially in ...more

It would be a great PR event if Paul would donate one BioCLoud unit to a LTC home in Ontario to show how effective it is.  The donation would be a tax write-off and great for PR if it detects the virus.

Fully agree.  Maybe email Paul at paul@kontrolenergy.com   He is generally quite responsive  the CEO’s at these LTC facilities should be held criminally responsible for the tragedy we all see.   Maybe investor relations at Chartwell etc should be asked why they won’t consider this product even as a pilot

Paul already knows how I feel. I already expressed my opinion to him. The news reporters know, wrote letters to the different levels of government. I contacted some LTC Homes who had no idea Biocloud even exists and have forwarded my concern to over to management. I've pretty much did what I could by now. It boggles my mind. I hope to see some form of action soon.

Just sent Paul an email, hopefully he takes it into consideration.  I will let the board know if I get a response.

Paul will answer you as he is very good at keeping the communication door opened. He will likely tell you what he told me.....that he has already given the different levels of govt everything.

Maybe it's a matter of perception.  After all, $10,000 per is pretty steep for a virus detector, even one that has renewable cartridges ($100 every 3 months) used for identifying particular virus strains.  It doesn't do anything other than alarm, leaving the job of sterilizing and making the space safe to some other means.  $10K for the equivalent of a smoke ...more

Not sure how to calculate the value of a needless loss of a loved one or the 1000@s that died needlessly. Never took that is my Economics classes. @Further if this is simply an excecise in cost/benefit then that is a broader question as we could debate the massive cost of shut downs both economic and societal bs the relatively small morbidity rate especially in under 60 demographic@ Biocloud ...more

Hello Tdon. It actually can PROTECT the residents and the staff if it is put in a partially secregated area by NOT allowing Covid into the building BEFORE entering the actual LTC Homes. Life is more precious than money, especially MANY lives! Sighhhhh....."expense".
Comment by yearninyank on Feb 02, 2021 9:40pm
No kidding... while it is not a "testing device" it is a no brainer that if one were inclined it could be used to screen individuals to see if they are emitting aerosoloized virus. And since it is not a medical device or subject to regulatory authority it can be used that way should the purchaser desire. Now there may be issues with whether you can bind people to particpate for that same ...more

Great idea Gtagal! Although in order to have it protect the residents and staff it has to have an area I believe of airtight closure rather ( for a few minutes) than between two doors opening so often ( as most Homes have) My thought is they would have to rebuild an entry way in such a way that there would be another door / area that doesn't open so often? I have volunteered in different homes ...more

Thanks Jilly17 for the detailed information on how the product works effectively.  WIth this knowledge I have to wonder how it would be rolled out in a McDonalds or other fast food restaurant  where I believe it has been tested.
Comment by SpenceW15 on Feb 02, 2021 3:18pm
RE: McDonalds as an example: IMO the Biocloud will be used to screen staff first on a daily basis and than start to role out into the customer side as well. Although we know the two are two peas in a pod.
