Our first hit piece... we made it!

Practically reads like it was written by one of the negative nellies here. Enjoy and let's talk about it (I didn't even see it until after my last comment and it is so appropo, ha):

Well, there had to be a nay sayer eventually.  lol Their "article" would have been more interesting and credible had they not gone all flowery and purposefully negative....even describing what other buildings Cemsi was located between.  Like that mattered? Sounds like someone with an axe to grind.   They wanted the secret sauce.  Didnt get it and decided it ...more

I get that these guys need to do studies themselves and know every detail about the device to be able to endorse it. That's the scientific approach. But, you would think that their article should withstand the scrutiny with which they apply to BioCloud. As pointed out, the location of the facility is completely irrelevant, especially if they have not been inside. The fact that a manufacturer ...more

Thank you Canyousayiii, Insightful. His article to be transparent made me quit worried. But then I got to thinking what Paul has personally written to me and in his presentations. Paul as I always claimed has integrity. He's also not going to hand over his patent , his secret sauce. Although this person who has written this is setting himself up for Libel if it's not true. Not to neglect ...more

Agreed, It is a shot across the bow.
Comment by canyousayiii on Feb 19, 2021 4:24pm
It is not a comforting article for sure. I laid my concerns or parts of the article that I thought were unnecessary to the concern that is at the core of the detection. I agree that Paul should attempt to address it head on. And I hope that all the scientists involved from UWO and NRC, for example, have sufficient basic understanding about the antibodies and concerns raised in the article that ...more

On the other hand, if there is nothing to this opinion piece, maybe it is not worth legitimizing in any way, and let the results speak for themselves. Those that will put up big money will likely ask the questions and will have to be satisfied before they cut a check. So if we see checks coming in...

Well said Canyousay, You would think that Mr. Jonathan Jarry as a scientist would first test a unit independently for his on results before he publishes such an article. I also wonder KNR should obtain legal opinion on his damaging comments. He also appears to poke fun at Paul and quotes him say our special sauce etc, which based on the number of times I have seen him speak is out of character.
Comment by yearninyank on Feb 19, 2021 5:17pm
You know who has special sauce? Mcdonalds. Actually though he said secret sauce (Jack in the Box)... wait a minute! Kidding aside, he says caveat emptor due to the device not needing regulatory approval and to that I say he misses the point. It is a different and better approach to monitor the environment instead of the individual thereby bypassing hte need for that. They found a way to do ...more

Indeed Mr. canyousayiii, we are back to back on this. Healthy skepticism is all well and good. But he made a case, as it were. He suggested that facts not enetered into evidence should lead to an adverse conclusion. Well, tmaybe if we were talking about the actions of a deranged despot but information being withheld is the nature of proprietary information and the reason patent protections exist ...more

My heart sank. We need to do research on the author!
Comment by Jilly17 on Feb 19, 2021 3:41pm
Did you read who wrote it?!
Comment by wilander on Feb 19, 2021 3:44pm
Jilly.   She is merely speculaltng.  It is no more than an OPINION piece. Do you really think this hasnt come up so far? When being developed and with potential clients? If ONE article worries you THAT much you need to rethink your investment. Of course she has the right to be sceptical.  Specially as a scientist.  Everyone has a right to be sceptical of something that ...more

Not she, "he".   Misread the author.
Comment by ChiChi3 on Feb 19, 2021 3:59pm
Well I sold all my shares based on the article.  There's been little academic research/verification done on Biocloud and this person did a pretty thorough job-as much as he could given that PG couldn't really give him any proprietary info (which I don't blame him for BTW).  The author threw up enough red flags to push me over the edge.  I always knew there was a blind ...more

Suprises me you would let one random opinion -- and I do mean opinion -- throw you chichi. There is always a reason to sell when you are looking for one. But glad you made a buck. Cheers.

Taking profit can never be a bad thing. It doesn't matter to me if he sold or he didn't (I've sold off some of my cheaper ones in one account and made a little $5k profit ), but the post doesn't read genuine to me. He says not enough testing has been done yet sells all his shares based on the opinion of someone that ,while allegedly knowledgeable in the field , has not only done no ...more

Well, he did do quite a bit of reserach and brought in the opinion views of two other scientists so I'm not sure I'd call it just his 'opinion'.  He also seems to have more of a background (Masters in molecular biology) than probably most shareholders, including myself, so he's got a bit more weight to his points of view. Of course, he may be wrong, but just making a ...more

Chi, he brought in the opinion views of two other scientists who do not know for sure what the detection mechanism or the "secret sauce" is. I don't think it is fair to say "there really isn't all that much scientific research to back BioCloud up at the moment". While you recognized the scientist references the author used, you are effectively saying that their views ...more

Lol it's all opinion and speculation.  I trust the National Research Council who dove deep into their technology and analysis to come to their conclusion and funding. I bet this our short friend trying to cover.
Comment by wilander on Feb 19, 2021 4:54pm
And its why you are paying under 5 bucks right now to get in on it.  Gonna be 10X that soon enough if/when it proves right. Like Mazz said, U of Western is behind it, National Research Council of Canada is behind it and put money into it, as has the gov't.    And the first two know the secret sauce.   As if any respectable person at Western is going to talk to ...more

Yes. I don't know him from the My Pillow guy so I can't judge his potential bias. He clearly implies that Biocloud may be some sort of snake oil. Yet, some pretty succesful snake oil so far. Look how many of us are completely duped. Either that or it is a piece motivated by something other than pure skepticism. Regardless of his intent he does do damage to the confidence of the investment ...more
