Amazing dichotomy in views and both are potentially right...
It seems so easy to build up the hope and beauty of this thing or crush it down with practical considerations. The ultimate goal, of course, is functioning Bioclouds (the only real time virus detector on the market) saving the world (to some degree) from the pandemic. But so many reasons to doubt that will happen. Yet, unless the whole thing is a scheme that "glorious" scenario is still possible. Clearly some folks here beleive it will happen. It is what I envisoned when I learned of the device. Its why I bought in. I have yet to see a reason to give up hope. But damn this is getting tiring! :;)
So Ghezzi will be better known (and way more popular than) Bezos - or he will be dogged by shareholders (and potentially a greater public) that won't forgive the failure (or the misrepresentation if it turns out that way). People surprise me all the time but I just don't see that guy as a fraud hoping to make money selling a phony virus detector to a needy world. And that sounds extreme but how else would the world judge such a story? So I'm good for now. Real news will come anytime. And it will change our worlds. Or not. Ha! Market forces no one saw coming could screw the whole plan. :)
