Investor awareness

I think the question is whether KNR cares about what happens to the share price in the short term. If they do, they paid some money to external firms for "investor awareness" among other things. Those firms need to start getting active now to promote the company and turn the tide on the declining share price. If it doesn't care, then part of that money was not well spent. There is one very easy way to address the share price and that is to give more indication of production/demand. Once actual sales figures come out, I do not think that you would need external investor relations firms as a primary mechanism to promote the company. Solid results will speak for themselves and they will get noticed without having an external firm flaunt those results. We all assumed that government funding to ramp up production to 20,000 units is there because the demand is there. But how many actually believe it? $200+million implicit monthly revenue trading at $3.40. Not $34, but $3.40. KNR could have been a little bit more explicit about that funding by simply saying that it will help them ramp up the production to 20,000 units per month "to ensure that the capacity is there to meet the interest that potential clients are currently expressing". If they can't say that, then they should not have accepted under that condition. That is what the market is saying, we don't believe you will need that capacity, nor the initial 10,000. KNR can put an end to the share price slide if they wanted to....or readjust investor expectations. Some may say, why would they manage the SP in the short term? Because it is a publicly traded company? Because all of this messaging is material? I am not for regular micro-managing but the difference between current valuation and potential valuation simply could be waaaaay to big to ignore at this point. Appreciate the amount of work that was done, appreciate the magnitude of the endeavor and how much is being done and is left to be done, but investor communication is also part of the "to do" list, and with so many dots being thrown around, the company could start throwing them a little bit closer so that connecting them is not such a confusing guesswork, that only feeds market volatility and opportunity for manipulation that supposedly PG is not thrilled with. JMHO.

Great Post Canyousay, This board has become redundant and the same messages being posted over and over with negativity increasing. One can easily see the frustartion and stresss increasing as the share price falls. There are some here that claim they are still in the black with their share price which I find hard to believe judging by the frustration and anger seen on this board. I for one do ...more

I agree gents. On the one hand, Paul has done a great job in communicating to share holders. On the other hand, the narrative as to what is truly going on (production delays, shipping dates, orders) has become extremely murky . . . so in that sense, Paul has also done a bad job of communicating to share holders as well. I think in general, we as investors are confused. I know I am. Because on the ...more

Hit it on the nail. Confused. Everything points to production, sales and shipping. EVERYTHING.  There is even going to be live demonstrations to appease the sceptical. But to date no release of sales. I just hope they arent waiting all back for a govt deal of sales above and before everything else. Because that titanic takes forever to make a turn.

I would just add "materially" to confused, IMO. Reading into the information out there and applying a lot of conservative assumptions, why is the $50++++ stock I am holding only worth $3?

Seriously Pointer...you're at it again?! Writing to Paul on here?! Email him if you want to message him. This is a show for you. I'm tired of your messages of gloom and doom. Go away you and all your identities. You're so obvious now. As you say to others...."you're now on ignore".

Moving forward, I would suggest that when anyone is adding nothing of value to the discussion, being abusive, or trolling - you do one of three things: 1) Use the "Report Abuse" button if warranted 2) Use the "Ignore" feature to unfollow the poster if desired 3) DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT reply or engage them in further debate I will be going back to these methods myself. "There is one very easy way to address the share price and that is to give more indication of production/demand."   When you're right you're right. Let's face it, we should be negative unless and until the manangement of the company we are all invested in does the obvious things they can do to stop the griping (and the bleeding). The only reduntant thing on this ...more
