Kontrol will use smart energy devices to monitor emissions in real-time and help clients reduce the number of greenhouse gases being released due to their activities. The company will carry out optical pollution analysis which detects the concentration of particular matter by focusing on the light it scatters. Then, using sensors that measure the absorption of infrared rays, it will figure out how much carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide is present in the environment. Paul Ghezzi, CEO of Kontrol Technologies, said, "Our strategy is focused on deploying our environmental monitoring and building technologies in large energy markets, and this initial sale serves as a prime example of our ability to do so effectively. Through our proprietary software, we will provide the customer with ongoing data and analytics needed to effectively monitor ongoing emissions which is paramount to enterprises within the oil and gas industry." Graphical representation of emissions provided by Control will help make informed decisions, ultimately cutting down costs.
