Peat container venture

Peat container venture

A good question for management would be whether they have the expertise to make these peat pellets. Buying the equipment is one thing but producing a pellet that you can grow trees in is another. The company that they buy pellets from has been in the business for a long time and does a lot of work on research. Even at that, they still have their problems with quality control sometimes. Its not as simple as jamming some peat moss into a bag. Unfortunately, if they fail, it could mean a loss of the tree crop. Hopefully they will start slow and work out the bugs before they convert to their own pellets.
