Telkwa drive byI just drove by the woodmere site and did see signs of something new. There is a pile of construction related to the passing lane they are putting in.
However, a row of really tall trees divides a piece of land that is full of what looks like planted rows of various spruce and pine trees of varying sizes all rowed up to the west side of the existing greenhouses. In that field there is a pick up with what appears to be survey flags in the ground and some sort of drilling rig tower stood up. Whether this is soil sample or water well truck i dont know but it is way out into the field.
Can not figure out what it would have to do with the current hi-way construction. If this is the building site it would definately be seperate from the existing greenhouses. Distance out into field from hi-way i would put at about 300-500 meters.
I am sure it was not there last week as i live in the area and drive past wanting something to happen for about 3 years now. So fingers crossed and i will update soon.
