please, they've lost so much money in the last few years, they can't afford to dilute any further, PascaLama is far from being over and I don't see Barrick acquiring anyone until they get closure on that property.

GG on the otherhand, wants an immediate impact, they don't want to wait years in order for their investment to take off/get off the ground.
