RE:RE:Takeout talk

RE:RE:Takeout talk  Loves ,  I can understand  why a takeout by KL  appears as good as it gets  right now but  let me offer another couple of  ideas for you.  If the  DGC  merger goes thru ,  then  one would have to think that KL  would have its hands full ,for at least two years,  incorporating the increased efficiencies at Detour that everyone is expecting..  Cant see them  taking another run  at anyone till then.   If the  deal doesnt go thru ,  then  Tony M  will be licking his wounds and  might be very reluctant  to   further  risk  his reputation.  If  he were to go after  a canadian  operation  ,  then IMO   either WDO or  WM  appear to have much less geological  risk  than  PVG.

I am not a particular  fan  of either of these operations ,  but  it appears  extremely unlikely that PVG is out of the geological woods yet.   Personally I think that  360,000  ounces is as much as can  be expected  for at least  2-4 years  and  I think you are being optimistic  in  expecting  3800 tpd .  There were hints  in the Q3  report that they are struggling to  get more than  3400  tpd  right now...... lets assume 3500 tpd  is the limit untill  reported  numbers prove otherwise.

And surely  nobody  would announce a bid untill  the new reserve report is out in  Q1.  They  might start due diligence before then ,  which  might lead to  takeover rumours,  but nothing official.
