RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Yumpu sections presentationSeabridge's proposed tailing dam has size limitations. It cannot accommodate all the ore from ksm. Thus hundreds of millions of tonnes at ksm cannot be mined until a new tailings set up is scouted out and environmentally approved. Sure they could incorporate their excess of ore with the snowfield material but they don't need a second new tailing facility for maybe 30 or 40 years at the minimum.
Yes determining the location of a mill for snowfield would be a problem.... could they ship their concentrate through sea's tunnel and thus pay half the cost of its construction... or could they ship it through the vok road to their own mill site. I don't believe management has even articulated the nature of their problem in that regard as of yet.
The last management team was up to their eyeballs in the mad pursuit to produce gold at the feasibility study estimate.... they did not have any time to make the 9 million ozs of high grade open pit material sitting a stones throw from the VOK mill available for inclusion into the analysts evaluation ... i suspect they didn't dare mention this eye popping opportunity because they should have mined the high grade open pit first instead of chasing their dreams of 15 grams per tonne gold..
