profit sheet needed here for interest

This is really a shame that it hasnt taken off.....we need to see how much money (profit) its gonna generate!

That was the whole issue with Royal Coal, the coal is there it was just not profitable for them to remove it. There are some management issues  with Royal as well. I believe as soon as people see a steady profit this will climb. PR team needs to generate some interest....its a bit frustrating in how it is holding but I believe patients will prevail....go long!

In a way I think the announcement that Rosa is at full production, and that they will only update once a quarter henceforth, created more uncertainty than confidence. If the data is put out in a MD&A or when financials are released then we might find out the 1Q numbers (jan-mar) only in May. Hard to say. I agree with you analysis, that would leave about 2.4 mill in profit if you used an average of $75 per ton in costs. Nice offer this morning  50k @ .25 by PI , now there is some interest!!! With out an active PR team this is going to be slow and painful.....not the wisest management decission in my opinion! Not that that is anything new with this company!!!   JMHO

It is hard to say why there is no profit and costs out way the current price of the coal. Royal's management would like us to believe the price is too low. But you have to think poor management of costs has had a big impact for sure! It could also be posturing by Royal to try and elevate the price that SND has them roped into for the coal. SND needs the coal but Royal can't produce? In my ...more

Royal Coal's total expenses per ton were coming out to over 100$/t while they sold coal at 73$/t. That includes taxes, royalties, etc. according to their last MD&A (on their website) This company has been auger mining at Rosa for 1 1/2 years. I have not seen a breakdown of mining costs in their reports but the MD&A for the period ending dec 2010 says this about mining costs, whereas ...more
