NGT Dividend

Today, I received the dividend in my Canadian TD Waterhouse account and it was less than I expected. It was $44.73 CAD per 100 NGT shares. This is not even close to $40 USD per 100 shares.

Could someone explain this number?

I looked at mine and it was 52.87 Cad per 100. Has a fee been deducted from your dividend? Or perhaps some tax has been paid if it is in a taxable account. Even if it is in a tax sheltered account I believe you must still file a W8 form.

My account is a TD Direct Investing account. It indeed looks like a fee has been deducted from my dividend. My shares are NGT, therefore, listed on TSX, so I didn't expect any deduction.
