It's been a heck of a day for Newmont stock.
The market cap blew through fifty billion. 
Let's trust that it holds on to its gains.
Anyone who is overweight in the gold sector like myself should be very pleased to see gold stocks beginning to respond to the  significant gains in the price of gold.
NEM is a bellweather for the industry.

This is only for one major. Others have not been reacting too much so far. i am anxious to see the juniors finally get their ride up.... the inferred gold material already proven is not valued to the current gold price environment. This will change over the next few months. Difficult to predict when it will start but maybe following a pullback and with available cash for the sideline.
