RE:QuestionA brief comparison with Mountain Province rough Diamond mine in NWT.
Currently producing $400 million cad per year based on Approx 4 million carats which receives $100 cad per carat.
Cash costs about $50 cad per carat mined.
Strip ratio 10 to 1..........strip ratio is 3 to 1
High transportation costs.......transportation costs 50 % of Kutcho
Enterprise value of $650 m cad for 49% of the Kutcho mine .
Grade is 200 carats per 100 ton............54 carats per 100 ton
Where Kutcho beats Naujuk is in density per ton.
However, Naujuk will get a higher price for its diamonds.
How much higher will depend on contribution of yellow gems which currently historically 21% by weight.
The three sampling pits were chosen based on higher discriminat location methodology.
My bet, after examining all of these factors ,is that we have an good chance for successful outcomes of this 2000 ton bulk sample which should yield about 1000 carats..
