May 1, 2015: The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi government today sent a notice to senior officials of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and its partner Niko Resources Limited asking them to join the probe into the alleged irregularities in pricing of natural gas in KG basin. According to a senior official, the notice has been served to P M S Prasad, Executive Director of Petroleum Division of Reliance Industries, and Larry Fisher, India head of Niko Resources Limited, under Section 160 of the CrPC (calling for a witness).

Former Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas M Veerappa Moily, RIL chief Mukesh Ambani, former Union Minister Murli Deora and retired Director General of Hydrocarbons V K Sibal were named in an FIR filed by the ACB following complaints of irregularities in pricing of natural gas in KG basin. The FIR was registered on the complaint by the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government during its last term in 2014. "The investigation officer has some requirements so he has sent the notice and asked the officials to join the probe within a week," the official said.
