The recommendations of the government appointed panels too have gone on both sides. The supporters of revenue-sharing model say it makes the system far more transparent, leaves little scope for dispute and discards the need for bureaucrats, barely aware of geological complexities, to micromanage projects.

Interesting. Whats your opinion on this? I think it actually might be beneficial for us only because it would be in government's interest to raise gas prices and act with the companies to generate greater revenue.
