RE:RE:I wonder what legal options they have That's what I'm thinking.
The Lender's (cortes) I am pretty sure is an Indian company, RIL is and the GOI is involved in a country notorious for payoff's, bribery and deceipt.
I have a hard time seeing an Indian company losing 450 mill, every last cent, and walking away with zero, even if they sold D-6 for 50 mill that would be better than nothing, does any body think D-6 is worth 50 mill or 40 mill or 30 mill, I do, in a heart beat.
I have a bad feeling that maybe a deal with the Lender's was arranged, since they have a lein against D-6, maybe something was setup that in exchange for the Lender's not taking any action and making sure Niko loses D-6 they would be able to obtain a lien against D-6 and quietly get repaid maybe 200 mill, by RIL/BP in another company name, and burying everything in RIL/BP's massive financial statements.
Nothing would surprise me, common sense suggets that if Niko's 10% of D-6 is worth zero, that would mean RIL/BP's share is worth zero, and they wouldn't be spending 2 billion on D-6, something smells here.
