Settlement of Arbitration interest in D6

Settlement amount $36 Million. Net proceeds from the transaction are to be distributed solely to the lenders. Not sure where this leaves NIKO.

Does anyone have an idea what Niko's Bangladesh asset is worth? We can see they are owed $49 mil usd for profit from 2016 till date for block 9...what's block 9 worth? 40 mil from Feni If they manage to get more than 144 million from Bangladesh we can all expect something. As the 180 million just got decreased by 36 million from d6 settlement

You are setting your hopes too high. Anything they are going to get from Bangladesh will be going to straight to creditors. Unfortunately, common shareholders are not going to get a single cent. That's my opinion !

"You are setting your hopes too high." Maybe so but why is Niko hanging in and not declaring bankruptcy protection if there is nothing there, there?  Happy New Year G1945V

They might get eventually something from Bangladesh but that amount will never be enough to distribute to everybody. When we all hoped to get 700 Mill for D6. Eventually Niko received $35 Million. If you are going to look at the pay structure that they agreed with the debt holders a few years ago you will see what I am talking about. Anyways, good luck to you. I gave up on Niko a few years ago. I ...more

Noteholders are in a better place I thought before Bangladesh could be a game changer considering they have arbitrations there could be more than 144 mil. Imo

That's exactly about could, would, shall ... it is till up in the air and nobody knows what might end up. With Bangladesh is much harder to deal because it is the government and officials that were involved are all charged with corruption. Until regime changes nothing is going to happen.  In regards to D6 to get 35 Million is pathetic for what was invested already and the value they had ...more

Dell I dont think anyone in their right mind would consider NIKO as a solid investment...it's a lottery ticket aS I said before. There is still a chance for Noteholders to make somethign on this as I said before after $144 million.  Plain and simple. This is dead money with some chnace to get it back...if we get soemthign back thats good...if not it is what it is lol.  Wether you ...more
