Damages caused to 24 000 family shareholders of NMX

Damages caused to 24 000 family shareholders of NMXDamages caused to Nemaska Lithium shareholders.
1) From a share price point of view:
The average price paid by individual shareholders for their 508 M Nemaska Lithium shares
 was $ 0.80/share.
 So these shareholders collectively lost an investment of   (508 * $ 0.80) = $ 406 M.
On this basis, our Class Action could claim $ 406 million in damages.

2) From the point of view of the Net Project Value of the Nemaska Lithium:
Net Project Value of the Nemaska Lithium project (NPV) has been professionally assessed by National Bank Financial and Clarksons Platou (Referenc:Teaser document, February 2020)
 at $ 3,100 M.
This NPV of $ 3,100 M represents ($ 3,100 M / 847 M shares) = a value of $ 3.66 / nmx share. However, the project required an additional $ 1.1B. So our class action could claim:
($ 3.1B- $ 1.1B) = $ 2,000 M or $ 2,000 M / 847 M shares = $ 2.36 /share in damages or
508M * $ 2.36 = $ 1,200 M
