This is what I have been saying, NVS is a great company, good production, good holding but falls short on forward information. Why was there no pre-anouncement on the earnings? They have done that before.
I see the numbers as Fair at best. We met expectations on the top end, production numbers (already built into the price) but fell short on the bottem line. Debit is get a little high and almost to the limit. There were some interesting right downs. Plus the gas holding / number are a little high in this climate. With that said, had a good day today with a down market but poor volume.
For the first time I have to admit there is something unusal. Expired warrents may explain some of the high volume a couple of weeks ago but not that much (under the 10% - interesting). Write downs and release of some land to bring in bottom line at
.00/share for the year when we are producing good production numbers and cash flow. What was the purpose / advanage of the share buy back? Why not pay down debit or make aquitions to improve the balance sheet. The lack of pre-announcements.(AUN pre-announced earnings date and jumped 8% with massive volume) It seems that they are trying to hold the price down. The $1.10 resistance based on volume was also interesting. We will have to wait and see.
Just my opinion - Now let the attacks begin but remember everything that I have been attacked for saying have come true. You can't live in a fantacy world.
