I'LL VOTE NO Too !
I've been in this stock for 3 years. I've watched production grow, reserves grow a lot and debt managed prudently. Maybe it's true that investment and financing in the Canadian oil & gas patch is going through a drought right now, but it will return. Maybe soon.
There was nothing imminent that was forcing this company to sell cheaply now. The only reason that I can see is that now, with new financial backing, Novus will be able to grow agressively and the current management will partake handsomely along side the growth.
The shareholders have been faithful and now they're getting screwed.
Vote NO.
