Knight Theraputics Halted, possible Nuvo Take-over...
Knight Theraputics (GUD.TO), has been halted due to a bought deal they have initiated. I believe that they already have 325 million and the latest deal will provide them with another 75 million dollars, so they now have in excess of 400 million dollars and have made no secret that they are looking for a company or two to buy in the near term.
This could be a distinct possibility that they are considering a buy out of Nuvo Research.
I have thought that it was a possibility before but it appears very likely to me now. Their latest deal will close by December 22, and news could happen at any time as far as I am concerned.
Goodman, the CEO of Knight is the former CEO of Paladin, who had multiple deals over the years with Nuvo, was taken over by Endo Pharmacuticals. Goodman has since progressed Knight into a cash cow with an excess of 400 million dollars and ripe for a takeover of another Pharma company!
This could get real exciting, very quickly here!
