Q2 Conference Call
Q2 Conference CallDefinitely a much more positive quarter...things are finally looking up!
On the Q2 conference call, Jesse mentioned that they are in advanced and hopefully final discussions with two very interested companies to market and distribute Resultz in the U.S. They wanted to have a U.S. partner in place by July, but wanted the best deal possible...he sounded very optimistic that a deal would be consummated soon. No mention of possible Resultz partners for the other large markets in Europe, and he discussed the timeline in greater detail for P2 regulatory applications and commercial launches for the EU, and with Gebro in Switzerland. Unfortunately, no mention of Sayre in India, and other jurisdictions such as Canada. Nevertheless, it seems to take forever to acquire regulatory approval anywhere, and our patent clock is ticking! Hopefully, Horizon will be more engaged and will continue to slowly ramp up sales in the U.S. In addition, he did discuss and elaborate about possible accretive acquisitions in the future as well, and how reasonable the price points were.
Regarding what a possible deal for Resultz in the U.S. would entail, I'm assuming that Jesse would be looking for a small upfront payment along with a mid teens royalty revenue, and a manufacturing royalty as well. Time to cross your fingers....
