Sept 28 ex-dividend. Three last Q I moved my holdings from Canadian side to US to get dividends in US,to move it back to Canadian right after. With the current CAD/US ratio I prefer to have some pocket money in US dollars to avoid overpaying in the bank for the exchange. Dividend covers the expense .Broker charges 4.~%something for the margin and the bank 2.99. At $3.91 CAD the dividend is 5.4%. What am I missing? Oh. Capital gains probably. OK. It sucks, yes. Well, this stock has a history of unexpected moves up ( and sometimes down).Game, isn't it?
