RE:RE:RE:seeking alpha on NSUTrue index funds are "passive" and need to do the trade, whether a buy for an addition or sell for a deletion at the closing price of the day.  That is why we have MOC (market on close) orders.

What I find interesting on this trade are the buyer(s).  Merrrill Lynch and Anonymous took down more than 3 million of the shares.  Love to know who they bought them for.
