RE:On May 12th they gave.....The new CEO certainly needs incentives but it reminds me that Nevsun has quite a few people collecting C$1M+ salaries with generous stock options. For a company not performing well with it's current market cap it can make one concerned whether this level of compensation is appropriate and warranted.

I don't know where much of the executives stock options are priced at. Perhaps others know. If they aren't in the money unless NSU goes up significantly then it may appear more appropriate. If they are in the money today then where is the true urgency to drive the share price back up to where it once was and beyond.
