First off, if you really knew anything about PG, you would know he hasn't made recommendations since leaving the metals "racket" (his choice of words) about five years ago so don't say you followed his recommendations, as he clearly notes he only posts what's he's doing for his family and himself (as he did in today's notation on gold. So unless someone has a gun to your head and forced you to follow him, you only have the guy/gal/it to blame when you look in the mirror.
Now, regarding his "observations" (as he likes to call them), yes, he has not called every up and down but I be willing to wager he has done better than most and certainly you (but we'll never know that since he states everything open and on record and you are an unknown in cyberspace).
