I bought some HIP today,

for the reason that, should the merger go through - it is good for my CMED position, and I'll still likely see profit off the buy after conversion because I expect CMED shares to do very well if HIP merger goes through. 

But it's also bit of a hedge for me, in case there is a fall through with CMED and HIP, and a fall through with ACB and CMED, which is what I see as the worst case scenario - at least I can capture some of the upside of HIP and the 9 million dollar payment CMED will be sending their way.

Agree with you..i did as well....HIP really is in a good position.. if anyone was in under a dollar..it's all good. However it all sorts out....I think HIP will get halted alot over the coming business days coming up cuz of legal junk.
