We should make money now right?

We should make money now right?If reverse stock split is going to happen,all the shorters out there are going to have buy back the shares soon,which should cause a run in the stock price correct?I'm still new at this, I got my package today from Newstrike for voting I have 16000 shares in this company, I really do not want to lose my money.Some good news would be great.
