Yup, you're right.  I've been trying to modify how I look at POT stocks as validations don't seem to get much credit on these (HIP being a prime example...).  When I looked at Canopy I seen good revenue numbers, which traditionally would get me excited but I thought investors would be more focused on the loss per share which would result in an early day selloff then a good recovery to the $35 range. Keeping in mind that there are alot of new investors playing these stocks at the moment..

I didn't have any funds free for a daytrade so my hands were tied regardless, just fun to watch.

Overall I think Canopy is a great long term hold, I just wouldn't buy today.  I also think HIP is a winner, it's just waiting for the right NR / coverage etc.  The only folks who really win on the market are the ones who identify the right company, buy in early then hold.  Realistically watching this everyday is more or less a waste of time.  HIP has everything going for it and I'm sure anyone with an average SP around these levels will do extremely well over the next 6 to 12 months.
