RE:The up/down pattern is about to end in the Marijuana sector

RE:The up/down pattern is about to end in the Marijuana sectorI have to agree with you 100% I mentioned about black market competition awhile back here or on xly and was shouted down as not knowing anything and how dumb it was to think the BM would interfere in legal sales;; I personally think the BM will be and continue to be a thorn in our butt in the months ahead ;;;
Newstrike wrote: Until now, all companies moved more of less in-sync with the MJ Index.  This is to say that at times of major bullish sentiment in the major cannabis players, the same sentiment was distributed amongst the other smaller players.

Moving forward now, the driving factors for any company’s valuation will be on how well it executes in the Canadian rec market, keeping in mind that it is crowded with competition, barred with anti-advertising regulations, and faced with the challenges of supply shortage and of lower-priced black market options.

I am proud to be on-board with this company as I truly do believe in Jay’s vision of executing extremely well here in Canada first before running off and trying to be everything all at once. I don’t think we’re “missing out” by not having an immediate international footprint. Rather, I think that by first getting UP right with Canadians, and getting the logo and brands familiarized with the public, it will be easier to enter into foreign markets given the domestic credibility the brand will bear.
