You can sell the warrants before the strike price.. You just would not be able to convert into common stock

Stop looking at what Canadian warrants give for Warrant prices everyone. They said HIP.wt warrants should have been .24 cents this summer and they never got above .14 cents and same for the HIP.WT.A warrants. I don’t think they know what they are talking about. Original warrants should be around 8 cents right now and A warrants should be 25-30 cents. We need some news to get these where they ...more

jeff187..... You might want to check your source. Most warrants can be exercised BEFORE their expiry date.  Naturally you would want to exercise them if above strike price, not below.

I am correct.. i bought in at .10 for the warrant  The strike price is just being able to convert your warrants into common stock which has to reach 1.75.  I checked with my bank prior to purchasing the warrants.

Wrong.....the warrant can be exercised AT ANY TIME but you have to pay the strike price.  It does not need to reach strike price to exercise.  You would be crazy however to exercise a warrant when share is trading below the strike price.  The warrant can be traded AT ANY TIME.
