The sp will not be affected by

The upcoming ER. Not this one at least. What they really need now is a m&a or big partnership (not ones with small no names like Leo Brothers)

Nomnom... are you trying to buy cheap shares again today?? lol...  come on man, everyone should realize that this is a substantial report coming out.  It's the first report that will show rec sales numbers and HIP's reporting period is 100% loaded, their ENTIRE QTR covers post legalization.  This is likely the most important report the company will issue in it's history ...more

Base on ER from other companies. I honestly don’t think their top line revenue will surpass 6m
Comment by quinlash on Mar 11, 2019 1:36pm
Ok fair enough, can you share some insight as to how you calculated that?  The only thing I was using in my calculations from other companies was the average sell price of a gram.  I had been using $6 but geeman pulled a source to indicate $5 was more likely.  Outside of that we need to estimate what was produced and sold during the period.  My low range is $9 mil How did you ...more

let’s just say I know someone working in this industry. All the lps r having logistic problems and I highly doubt HIP can sell all of its inventory. I am looking at 6m max

Ahh, ok, now I know where you are coming from. Yes, you are correct on the logistics issues but that actually isn't a factor for the Sales numbers.  HIP can book a sale on the last day of the QTR and ship the product weeks later, the sales number will still appear in the QTR report. Think about buying something on Amazon.  If you place your order at the end of the QTR Amazon ...more

i think they can only book a sale once they ship out their products base on my own experiences with running a company
Comment by quinlash on Mar 11, 2019 2:01pm
I run my own business too and managed revenue in others, there is no need to ship product to recongize the number, call you accountant

I m a CA. So I know a little bit about revenue recognition:)
Comment by nomnom on Mar 11, 2019 2:03pm
Maybe u should consider fire ur accountant
Comment by quinlash on Mar 11, 2019 2:04pm
Maybe you are confusing Sales with Revenue.  The focus will be on the top line sales number.
Comment by nomnom on Mar 11, 2019 2:07pm
Sale is revenue. If u look at their last quarter. What they recorded is gross revenue which was the total sales before cogs & expenses .
Comment by quinlash on Mar 11, 2019 2:17pm
I'm not typing out an explanation on all this, here is some links to help; https://www.wallstreetmojo.com/revenue-vs-sales/ https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/recognizingrevenues.asp Long story short... the problem with logistics will not affect the Sales Numbers IMO.  If you do not agree then trade accordingly.
Comment by nomnom on Mar 11, 2019 2:12pm
If they can break 9m this quarter then I can see sp surpass 55
Comment by quinlash on Mar 11, 2019 1:59pm
Actually, in reality, a sale can be recorded before a product is even produced.. think about pre-ordering a car.  The sale is booked, and reported in the company's finacials, before the car is even made.  So in reality HIP could be booking orders from the provinces before it has even completed it's growing cycle.. we have been assuming the only sales to be reported would be for ...more

Jay said in the last interview they sold everything they had. I beleive that was minimum $8 million they had in stock. Will be really interesting to see what the actual numbers are. I think if they were going to be lower than expected we might have heard something. ACB came straighten out and said their numbers would be lower than expected because of a couple inefficiencies. Everyone can speculate ...more
