Oh boy - this post isn't going to make me any friends....

Commodity stocks (and the majority of World equities for that matter) were grossly and unjustifiably overvalued in the bubble leading up the credit crisis.  Who exactly did your DD for you and promised you outstanding returns when OLE was $3-$4?  Blaming management for not taking the share price to $8 instead of admitting your error of buying near the peak dooms you to make the same mistakes again.  If I sound like a snot nosed know-it-all, trust me I learned my lesson the hard way during the Teck-boom bubble and bust.

MDM with over half a billion shares outstanding and half of their gold production hedged until 2013 doesn't exactly look to me like a 'model' of opportunity and capability.  Exactly how much do you figure MDM shares will be worth in the future?  Do you realize how much gold they would have to produce with 563m shares outstanding for the sp to hit $5 at current gold prices?  If they take on other projects the dilutitive effect will be that much greater.  You can bet that (thanks to OLE Management) if Oromin moves into production, they will have a funding partner and dilution will be much much less.

OLE management clearly are not interested in pumping their project at this point.  I'm sure they know that it takes a lifetime to build a reputation and only a short time to ruin it.  As long as Management remains focused on the completion of the project, I remain confident that my ROI will take care of itself - and that this is exactly the type of 'sure thing' multi-bagger that I look for.
