Their synergies would benefit them so much that they cannot be ignored. The following definition says it all.

It will be even more interesting now that there is some bad blood between Lennox KIng (TGZ board member) and Chet. However they are both smart business men and know that combined they will have a tremendous company with at least a twenty year, 400k to 500k ounces per year mine life.
