RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: TGZ takeover

It may in fact be 66% as a lot of poison pills require that. But still they need 41% out of the remaining 75%. With respect to the other HT I have seen, both companies added a sweetener, but its very minor like going from .58 to .61 a share.

The problem is with pure explorers is that they are unfortunately a dime a dozen at this time. I could point you to a dozen other gold stocks that have great deposits and are trading insanely cheaply. The problem is, the majors that can develop these assets, are getting creamed by their shareholders to reduce expenditures and takeovers and many are now even selling their own portfolio of deposits.

This is a good deposit, but IMO its only really on TGZs radar due to the amazing synergies. The only way I see another buyer is if they are buying out TGZ as well. 3+ years ago, explorers were in demand as companies were all about the pipeline of assets and being valued on oz's in the ground. Now its all about cash flow and profitability.

Personally, I will only buy gold companies that are very profitable and want to expand as I think in the next boom period they will shoot up like a rocket.
