The partner Bendon is reported all paidup and staying current in note 5a of the 2009 Fin statements.Here is what I could find on OLEraising capital;January 2005 Oromin is awarded theSabodala property. In May of 2005 they form Oromin Joint VentureGroup with two partners. OLE 43.5%, partner1 43.5%, parnter2 13%.A total of $8 million dollars is to be spent on exploration by April17, 2007. I agree, excellent work iop42,i just was guessing, cause anonymous always wants this to go down......either Toll Cross or Research capital, who has lots of share from last PP or just shorts...

Thanks,Topoftheridge, do you have ideas on why?I know Research Capital is in a lawsuit with another miner.  They were capital raisers and divulged privileged information to a competitor.   My opinion on them, is that they short sell right up to the share issue.  If Chet wants a higher price on the stock then he should look for another firm and go private if possible.  That ...more

I agree with you on using "private" funds.also why not let the little guy in?last year I participated in a PP with just $5000 of my money (in a smaller company of course)I guess it would be more paperwork, but I am sure "retailers" could contribute 25% of a $20 million raise.
