Nail trading TMX volume was down in 2012

Since you challenge my observations on trading volume without doing any research yourself I will provide you with the actual trading stats unless you want to challenge the Exchange actual statistics. Yes of course I do make the occasional mistake but I will take my economics degree and trading experience since the mid 80's over the daily regurgitated stale poster pump news repeated daily here. Here are the senior board trading stats since OLE is traded their. If you have difficulty understanding that is okay as we all learn everyday. The trend on volume is continuing into 2013. Sell in May is probable to happen earlier this year.

2012 TMX senior board stats. Can YOU spot a trend?

Once again interesting observations but only partially relevant and also "selectively" convenient. It is interesting that you look at 2012 vs 2011 as a comparison given that 2012 was one of the worse years for mining stocks in its history (convenient of you). But yes agreed that volumes were down 2012 vs 2011 - once again interesting but only partially relevant to the discussions on this ...more

Well nail we don't have January's numbers yet rookie but I will bet on a market down trend and if not maybe starting in February. So you think trading volume is partially relevant to share price performance do you? I trust you have the same educational back ground and actual trading experience as I but I doubt that by your responses.   Here was OLE stock price ...more

That was January 2012 to current Here was OLE stock price performance in 2012 as the market suffered depressed trading in volume. What a coincidence huh?     Date Close Feb01/13 1.75 Jan 03/12 2.84 Net loss -1.09

Uhhh, not sure where you got those numbers from but I would recheck your sources. OLE did not trade at any of those levels over the last year....and you call me a rookie?   In the last year OLE is actually down from about $1.05 to $0.80 a mere 20%. And much of that is explained by an almost finalized buyout in early 2012 that drove the share price up over $1.00 last year. So really overall ...more
