Until such time as MC chooses to file his SEDI report (exercised or expired) we are left with speculation.
However, rest asssured that if MC had exercised his options he would have reported to SEDI immediately.
Only if he had let them expire would he delay reporting.
Excluding of course, the <5% chance of a three month blackout period!
As a reminder:
MC had 175000 options with a strike price of $1.45 CDN and expire around December 13, 2023.
At that time, ONC was trading above $1.70 CDN.
MC appears to have declined the offer to exercise these options.
Leaving the market with the obvious conclusion that MC believed ONC was overvalued.
Subsequently, over the next two months ONC fell below $1.45 CDN.
