USA Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other related activities within the United States. Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

(I now believe that this rumour has REAL legs) So often you hear rumours of such and such and they usually last for one trading day. Well, this one popped up again and this would lead me to believe that there is more substance to it. I wrote yesterday that Don Coxe said recently that there was going to be a big multi-national making a play soon for a large Canadian independent. He thought that the play might be BP getting into the oilsands. Perhaps Shell has beat them to it or the BP story is still to come.
