RE: The Case AGAINST Uranium?
RE: The Case AGAINST Uranium?Enerman, you are spot on in your thinking - or at least we are merely in step and both wrong!

But I don't think so.
I have come to the conclusion that we MUST get away from burning fossil fuels as soon as we conceivably can, and that the way forward is renewables and nuclear (for the electric base load). In terms of fossil fuels, our societies are like heroin addicts. If coal was a tenth of the price it is now we would just abuse it more than we do already. So-called "environmentalists" opposition to nuclear power is misguided, in that it will slow the expansion of the nuclear power industry and, therefore, lead to more CO2 and particulates spewing into the air we breath. This is a large part of why I am in this sector. Uranium is more than just another energy source folks. This is also why I am utterly convinced that nations will seek to build strategic stockpiles of U3O8, and that the current and near-term producers are primed for incredible success. Why hold Au when U3O8 is so much more useful, too?
