white is the guy at fos that seems to have an oil and gas background and may be the architect of this deal. he is going on the boad of petrus. it certainly seems he rather likes the opportunity before him.

Yes, we can assume that White knows oil and gas as well as power.  He is the former CEO of Veresen.  It sure looks like he missed the mark badly on this one.  The impled price of the transaction is about $6 not the $7.40 he negotiated!!!! FOS shareholders waited a long time to put this money to work.  Given where the FOS stock is trading it looks like we were sold out.  I ...more

unless one thinks that o&g is done forever then seems like smart enough move.no one saw the latest drop coming but remember that the conversion price was based on bought deal financing for a pretty good chunk of change so combined with the existing entity there is some serious skin in the game here. i personally think the chance of oil recovery has a shorter time frame than anything at fox ...more
