RE:RE:PPY holding betterGreat! So important to do extra intense DD when investing in E&Ps...just look at all the companies that are cutting capex and their dividends now! It's a bloodbath out there!!!!...Nevertheless there are definitely a number on concerns that I have with the overall story of nat gas in Canada (as I've written before) over the nexxt 3-5 years...but if you choose very carefully you can find those who increase capex (PPY, PEY), or increase dividends (HWO, PEY), because of stellar management. PPY definitely looks super smart with their recent bought deal financing in this market. So hard to sell such a great name when they keep coming out with fantastic news. Now the challenge is weighing the threats to Cdn nat gas with all the positives of PPY.
