I have found the EIA to always over state production. Forecasting price is impossible or someone would be very rich and probably not working for the EIA. Fred dial on Twitter had a great post a bit ago saying the last year overproduction was similar to this was 2016 and storage was like 100BCF different (sorry going off memory) but prices were 2.80$US/MCF . Kinda like if theres a chance of a shortage rates can skyrocket there not full = 1$ empty = 5$ ... I think the value per MCF is well above the price so that's my answer to your question. Could USA shut in more gas like EQT did I should think any unhedged MCF doesnt replace its self right now and barely turns a profit so i hope so.
