If the No Vote prevails, will the stock price go up or down In the short term?

Hard to say, I would imagine the penny flippers would rush to the nearest exit. But after that the future is very good. My point is and always has been that Painted Pony is a spectacular long term investment and I do not believe ther is a replacement for it anywhere.  You could gamble around it but If your timing is off there is much more to lose than to gain

FYI, I believe today is the deadline for filing notice of dissent. Yes it's before the vote. You must file with the weasel lawyers in Calgary, not via your broker or the company. The fax number for Dewey cheetham and Howe is in the info circ.

Since the offer was made futures prices for Oct 20 thru Apr 21 have risen 19% versus those prevailing during the 20  trading day period prior to the offer.The USD to C$ exchange rate is about 1% higher. The 30 % share price premium that CNRL has offered has been effectively wiped out as Painted Pony is very leversged to increasing nat gas prices. If you voted yes to this rake-over there is
